Alexander Linn, Founder (Ex.), Chairman (Ex.)
Alex, with a background in economics, quantitative methods, and international development from Southern Methodist University, London School of Economics & Political Science, and John Hopkins University, he lead a team of entrepreneurs and founded Kastha in September 2014. He has owned and managed a diverse set of companies. He recently founded and now leads an Austin based specialized firm ShipShape AI.
Dr. Ken Richardson, Advisor for Computing
Dr. Richardson is a professor of Mathematics at Texas Christian University since last 25 years. He has his BS, MS, and PhD in Mathematics from Rice University. Super popular among students Dr. Richardson is known for fun teaching methods admired by several. His research focus is in applied linear algebra, complex analysis, and scientific computation.
Matthew Irwin, Branding & Creative Director
For over a decade, Matthew has created high-impact brands & clever campaigns that grab consumers like a rabid chihuahua, Past clients include Neiman Marcus, RJR, GSK, Henkel, & Central Market HEB. Matt is also the co-founder of Wink, an app to remind of a potential overdraft.
Kathleen Ward, Co-founder, CEO (Ex.), CMO (Ex.)
After studying Finance at Texas Christian University, Kathleen initiated her startup uChilla to provide a safe marketplace for students which had it presence in over 400 universities. Her entrepreneurial drive motivated her to co-found Kastha. Kathleen has also been an international model of several beauty and clothing brands. She is currently on a family- break and holds a place on the board of directors of Kastha.
Roland Omene, Advisor for Strategy
Roland Omene, is a graduate of Texas Christian University and founder of nationally well recognized startup Frog Tutoring. With a whooping revenue of over $20M with bootstrapping, it has its base in over 40 cities. He is also cofounder of iCode. His critical entrepreneurial thinking and methods have left long term impact. At Kastha, Roland is advisor for strategy.
Kelly Smith, Director of Business Development
Kelly has over five years of experience in sales and customer relations where his main focus was to work with company executives and entrepreneurs on a daily basis. He manages Kastha's businesses development processes from NYC.
Avinash Chandra, CEO, CTO (Ex.)
With a background in Math & CS, Avinash attended Texas Christian University and the University of Cambridge for Entrepreneurship. He is a tech entrepreneur & has been a consultant to over twenty-five startups. He recently pursued his extended MBA from HEC Paris, prior to which he completed his MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. He is also the CEO of Kastha & co-founder of Vinyans.
Dr. Antonio Sanchez, Advisor for Technology
Dr. Sanchez is professor of Computer Science at Texas Christian University since last 20 years. He hols a MS and DSc from George Washington University in Computer Science. He is an expert of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Data Visualization. He advises on technology paradigms used on all the relevant entrepreneurial projects of Kastha.
Jarrad Washington, Director of Research & Dev.
Jarrad specializes in technical communications & interactive digital media. With a background in Engineering from Howard and Texas A&M, he provides unique insight for commercial & enterprise projects with a focus on millennial-centric brands. He is also an active part of Mississippi Coding Academics.
